Redleys Easy-Clean is an advanced protective coating applied to the surface of the glass to help reduce the build-up of limescale, soap residue and staining.
The treatment helps water disperse more effectively across the glass surface, reducing water marks and making ongoing cleaning easier.
While no glass is completely maintenance-free, Easy-Clean treated glass typically stays cleaner for longer and requires less effort to maintain than untreated glass.
Regular maintenance is still recommended to achieve the best long-term results.
The performance and lifespan of Redleys Easy-Clean will vary depending on frequency of use, local water conditions and adherence to the recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures.
Redleys Easy-Clean is supplied with a 2-Year Glass Protection Guarantee against manufacturing defects, subject to the recommended care and maintenance guidelines being followed.
Does Easy-Clean Make the Glass Self-Cleaning?
No. Regular cleaning and maintenance are still required.
Easy-Clean is designed to reduce the build-up of limescale, residue and water marks, making the glass easier to clean and maintain. It is not intended to eliminate cleaning entirely.
Water Softeners & Treated Glass
Certain water softening systems can increase the alkalinity of the water supply, which may contribute to water spotting on both treated and untreated glass surfaces.
Where a water softener is installed, we recommend regular removal of excess water from the glass using a squeegee or soft microfibre cloth after showering to help maintain the appearance of the enclosure.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guidelines
The following recommendations will help maintain the appearance and performance of your Redleys Easy-Clean treated glass.
Daily Care
For best results after each use:

Rinse the inside of the glass with clean water.

Remove excess water using a squeegee or soft cloth.

Dry the glass using a clean microfibre cloth.
Periodic Cleaning
Occasional deeper cleaning can be carried out using warm water and a mild pH-neutral soap solution, followed by rinsing thoroughly and drying with a soft cloth.
Important Care Information
To avoid damage to the protective treatment and surrounding finishes, the following should not be used:

Abrasive pads, brushes or cleaning creams
